Having trouble finding what you want?  Maybe this will help.

For Observers - This section is generally for our volunteer weather observers. It contains:

  • Enter Data - Our on-line data entry pages that you will use to enter your precipitation data. For a description of how to use the on-line forms, check here.
  • Volunteer Coordinators - This is a list of current coordinators for each county involved in the project. Contact your coordinator if you have any questions.
  • FAQ - Contains links to various Frequently Asked Questions pages to help you.
  • Help Needed - We always can use help, this page lists the items that we need help with.
  • Hail Pad Drops - This page contains a list of the hail pad drop off locations. If you have a hail pad that you need to get to us, please take it to the nearest hail pad drop off location.

View Our Data - This section contains links to various data pages.

  • Maps - Here you have access to various maps of data and maps of our station locations.
  • Reports - Data can be viewed in a variety of ways using the different reports available.
  • Hail Pads - View our hail pads organized by date.
  • Results - Read summaries of our results written by a variety of researchers.

For Teachers - This section contains various Lesson Plans available for teachers to use with their classes.

News - Here we will tell you about upcomming events and any new announcements.

  • Calendar - Lists of training sessions, seminars, field trips, and picnics that are begin planned.
  • Announcements - This will be any news items relating to the project.

How To - Here you will find a variety of pages designed to help you become a better weather observer.

  • Measure Precipitation - Contains detailed instructions on how to read the amount of precipitation in your rain gauge.
  • Measure Snow - Contains detailed instructions on how to measure various aspects of snow including precipitation, snow depth, and core precipitation.
  • Measure Hail - Contains detailed instructions on how to collect data during a hail storm.
  • Help Pages - Contains links to various other pages of helpfull information.
  • Entering Data - Contains detailed instructions on how to enter data using the on-line reporting forms.
