CoCo RaHS Volunteer Application Form

Do you live in Colorado, Wyoming, Kansas, Nebraska or New Mexico? Would you like to become a CoCo RaHS volunteer rain and hail observer? Great! We are always looking for more volunteers. Our goal is to have at least one observer for every square mile in urban areas and as many as we can get in rural areas. The more observers the better!

Nebraska residents can sign up for the NeRAIN project via their web site.

In order to participate in this project, you are strongly encouraged to attend a special 90-minute on measuring rain, hail and snow. Training sessions are posted on our calendar page. If you cannot attend a training session then you should read our on-line training information.

If you have not already read the steps to becoming a volunteer, please read them now, if you have, you may either fill out the form below and submit it directly to us via the Internet, or we have a printable version that you can print out and mail to us. Please read our privacy policy for details on our use of personal information.

We will use your longitude and latitude to map your data. Entering them is optional, but if you know them, it will help us map your data. If you live in a rural area please provide specific instructions. For example: 0.3 miles E of WCR 32 on WCR57, and 100 feet north of the road.

Fill out this form to join the project. Note: use "Tab" instead of the "Return/Enter" key to jump to the next field in the form.
